David Lees loves to connect people to who they are at their core, so they can be better at what they do. He uses his infectious spirit, inspired creativity, and insightfulness to empower people to discover and transform their professional and personal lives.

A native of San Francisco, David studied design at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh and the Art Center College of Design/LA. Moving to Manhattan, he launched his career at the infamous Studio 54 – designing events for some of the world’s biggest celebrities, including Madonna, Peter Allen, Anthony Perkins, Joan Rivers and Andy Warhol. David created his own special events company, David Lees Productions. He designed and staged product launches for some of the world’s best known brands, including Windows 95 for Microsoft, Nutrisse Hair Color for Maybelline, Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins and eBay.

David’s passion for bringing out the best in people continues to inspire them to achieve transformational results in their careers and lives. In addition to his private coaching practice, David offers career coaching at the NY State Department of Labor for hundreds of downsized professionals. He is also proud to work with U.S. veterans, including those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan helping them re-enter the workforce. David is a featured motivational speaker for corporate retreats, aboard the Queen Mary 2, and with non-profit organizations in New York City, including The New York Public Library, Grace Institute and Dress for Success.
